About Natalie Edwards
Natalie discovered Forrest Yoga after previously being told to avoid any yoga practice due to her scoliosis and lack of spinal flexibility. After years of osteopathy and relying on pain killers, Forrest yoga has given her the tools to manage her pain and her mission is to share these benefits with other back and neck pain sufferers, as well as anyone else who wants to learn and enjoy the mental and physical benefits of a regular yoga practice.
During 2014, Natalie is working to complete her Forrest Yoga certification to gain an extra 400 hours of experience on top of her training. One of her focuses is to remove the myth that yoga is only for women and get more men into and enjoying the strengthening benefits of yoga. Natalie trained intensively with world-renowned teacher Ana Forrest to gain her 200 hour teacher training certificate and is a registered teacher with Yoga Alliance UK. She also completed a Functional Anatomy course with leading anatomy and nutritional expert Ellen Heed.
