Weekly Baby Yoga Classes
Who is Baby Yoga for
You can attend our Baby Yoga class with your baby from ~8 weeks of age and all the way to crawling stage ~9 months.
Baby Yoga is ideal from 12 weeks when babies are able to participate to a larger range of postures as their neck becomes stronger. However Baby Yoga may help younger babies suffering from colics and wind and it will be a lovely introduction to the Baby Yoga class.
Why is Baby Yoga Beneficial
All babies will benefit tremendously from communicating with their parents in a safe environment, practising arms and legs coordination, hip strengthening movements, balance, tummy time, and relaxation.
Breathing techniques are used to encourage Babies to breathe well during exercise and we use songs during the class for a fun and easy recollection of sequences for both parents and babies.
Baby Yoga helps develop, motor skills, social skills, emotional intelligence and ….. the brain.
The class lasts about one hour and is scheduled during the day just before lunch time so you can meet with fellow parents and babies after the class. Baby Yoga is great for Babies and for Mums during the day. We also offer a Mums only Mothers Only Yoga Class on Wednesdays at 8.30pm.
This class is offered as a 4 weeks course for £ 36.00 and is limited to 10 spaces only.
Laurence is trained by Birthlight, the foremost organisation in the UK for Baby Yoga
