We are currently offering Pregnancy Yoga Courses to expecting Mums from 14 weeks to Birth. Pregnancy Yoga is very much adapted to make it a relaxing and safe practice even for overdue Mums.

About Our Pregnancy Yoga Course

The practice aims to soften and open your body,  experience a quiet and tranquil state of being while practicing moving inwards, a meditative technique much recommended for Labour Preparation. The class also encourages connectedness with your baby which is part of the emotional  and mental preparation.

Warrior Two 300x300 Pregnancy Yoga CourseAs part of the physical preparation, the class is structured to ensure a gentle warm up prior to practicing standing postures designed to build strength.

This is essential to tone the lower and upper limbs and support the lower back as well as for an active birth where gravity is used to ease delivery.

Various postures are used to encourage baby to find its optimum position in the last few weeks of pregnancy.

We practice relaxation, breathing and visualisation techniques in the class which are used to quieten and condition the mind ahead of labour.

Pregnancy Yoga may also help with any pregnancy ailments experienced in pregnancy such as anxiety, sleeplessness, heart burn, and lower back pain.
