Children's Yoga Club – St John's Primary School – Redhill

Objectives
Children Yoga aims to help children develop a sense of awareness of their body and emotions through exercise, sound, breathing, balance, games, storytelling or rhyme based Yoga sequence and Relaxation. It is a fun practice that offers to all children the opportunity to express themselves through their body in a controlled, precise and fun way.

Who’s it for?
The Children Yoga Club at St John's Primary School is offered from Y1 to Y6 year groups as an After School Club in the Den in groups of 12 children.

What To Bring
Children practice barefoot (usually) on mats with their instructor. Mats are provided.

Clothing
Their School PE Kit or leggings/tracksuit bottoms and Tshirt.

Den – Collection point for parents: Playground Gates at 4:15pm

Summer Term Dates: 10 classes on 22nd Apr, 29th Apr, 6th May, 13th May, 20th May, 3rd Jun, 10th Jun, 17th Jun, 24th Jun, 1st Jul (no class on 27th May half-term)
