JEALOUSY wears the colour of green and that particular shade of green does not suit you at all!

We all have been there; your friend is slimmer and prettier than you (bitch!), your mate has got better, faster car (bastard!) and your colleague got the promotion you so wanted…………….and the least flattering colour of green puts on the jealousy of your partner. That green is so YAK! That feeling that gets you when your partner gives their attention to somebody else. And that somebody happens to be very hot and physically attractive. How ugly is that shade of green? VERY.

How ugly is that shade of green? VERY.

When the object of your partner admiration and the subject of your jealousy brings this green out of you, that is mega unattractive and in fact, self-destructive.

When this inner Shrek of yours throws judgment, insecurities and comparison out at you. That neither looks or feels pretty and the only victim of that achy self-absorption is YOU.

And I am sure you realised that the pain doubles when we seek for the solution and salvation in the Haagen-Dazs tub or the glass, bah! The bottle of wine!

Boy, how green is the ache when the side effects of that temporary fix kick on! It cracks you with the guilt of intoxication, calorie consumption and leaves this emptiness eating up your self-worth with no sense of self value or self-direction………….

It feels so miserable and drops you back to the bottom of the self-esteem ladder. The climb up from there seems very steep and long. So maybe, ASAP you observe that drop down happening to yourself it would be worth to consider whether your partner is eyeing up somebody hot? If, high five to them for the good taste and even higher to your cute self! you must be an extremely  hot cookie, since they are  not only been eyeing you up from the distance but also decided to get closer, for longer with YOU.

They must have a pretty damn good taste! Respect for that! And to keep that interest for much longer than few seconds of the visual attraction, I bet your mind is hot too! Your sense of humour, the way you laugh or bite your nails, the soap operas you watch, the crap magazines you read and how much you struggle with the chopsticks. That makes you a hell one attractive content of the beauty! Make time for that chopstick practice improvement, make time to stop to notice and appreciate that beauty of self-imperfections. Make sure to make it mindfully visible to yourself and if you ever in need of a reminder deeply breathe in, give your emotions some space and ask yourself, is it worth it to go into those shades of green?

After all, you are an aesthetic soul. You love fashion, art, beautiful things. They all inspire you.  So just open up the passion towards aesthetism of the pretty people and beautiful minds as a booster of your self-beautification to let your inner and outer glow glitter and when next time that Shrek of  judge and self-destruction attacks you, choose the shade of green that really makes you feel attractive!
