About Kirsty May
Kirsty's classes involve Hatha asanas, various meditations, and pranayama. She also teaches SUP Yoga, Special Needs Yoga, meditation classes and holds many weekend retreats and workshops. Her classes are unique and creative, have a relaxed friendly vibe, but are still challenging. She has been influenced by many wonderful teachers and traditions from around the world. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience she has gained with others. Kirsty loves to see the transformation in people from before to after the class. It inspires her and brings her happiness and peace when she helps people, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Kirsty first tried yoga at a small festival in a tipi tent 14 years ago and was amazed by the way it made her feel afterwards. Since then she has been hooked and now has been teaching for 9 years in the UK, France and Hungary. Kirsty did her teacher training at Sivananda Ashram in Kerela, India and Universal Yoga in Dharamshala, India.
