Whether you’re at the beach, going for a jog at the park, or just lounging in the back garden, you can add a few impromptu asanas to the moment. For example, do some balance poses on the sand to challenge yourself and activate new muscles. Perhaps use Uttanasana to loosen up the hamstrings once you’ve finished a run.

There’s an ever growing community of global yogis online. You can now find a number of websites, like Yogamoo, who have videos and blogs to help you get inspired for your yoga practice. Whenever you have the time, simply stream a yoga video on your phone, tablet or TV and have a free guided practice. And the best part is that experience isn’t necessary!


  1. Add Yoga to Your Workout

Sometimes at the gym, you need to stretch it out or do some active recovery. You know what is perfect for those 30-60 second clips between your lifting sets? A yoga asana. Malasana feels great after walking lunges, by the way.


  1. Use Your Office Chair

If you are forced to sit before a computer all day long, then why not wake yourself up with some chair yoga? By doing some simple yoga postures at your office chair, you're giving your body the benefits of the postures without having to worry about breaking a sweat. Plus, you’ll up your motivation and productivity.
