Beginners Level 2 Yoga Course
In this 8 weeks course, you will get to review the foundation Poses explored in your Beginners yoga course and work deeper exploring variations of each Pose, understanding the movement from different angles and experiencing the Pose through Breath sensing and visualisations.
Hatha Yoga is a traditional Yoga Style that focuses on Posture work (Asanas) and Breath work (Pranayama). The pace of the class is slow and focus is directed to the Breath whilst practising and holding a Pose.
Objectives
The Beginners Level 2 Course will help students deepen their practice at a gentle pace, slowly working to explore variations of the main Yoga Poses. Students will be given the opportunity to stretch themselves and explore more technical poses based on their ability.
Main Yoga Poses: Mountain Pose, Downward Dog, Cat Stretches and Kneeling poses variations, Lunges, Warriors, Lateral Stretches and Side Bends, Balance Poses, Boat Pose, Back Bends, Twists, Forward Bends, Inversions, Relaxation.
Students will also be taught breathing techniques (Pranayama), which enhance mental and physical well-being, and the class will end with a relaxation practice, which can help to combat stress.
Who’s it for?
The Beginners Level 2 Yoga Course is suitable for all ages of students who have already practised Yoga at a Beginners level and are seeking to deepen their practice at their own pace, in a deeper but gentle and non-dynamic Style.

Yoga Moo is a great set up, really well organised and all staff are really friendly and professional. Beginner’s Yoga 2 was fantastic. I’ve not done loads of yoga other than the beginners 1 course and the pace etc was just right. Jacki is absolutely lovely and really knows her stuff and clearly has a great passion for yoga whilst also being quite normal 🙂 Her classes are really relaxed and she brings a great diversity of things to each class. Definitely recommended.

A Brilliant course to progress from Beginners . Joy is a great teacher: she actively helps you to learn and align the postures correctly, and each term focuses on a particular theme- sometimes working up to a complex posture at the end. After a year on this course I’ve gained confidence and my practise has gone from strength to strength

After several enjoyable and accessible beginners classes courtesy of Yogamoo, I was looking for a good way to improve and get stronger but was a bit unsure how to. This class does exactly what it says on the tin – a really good introduction to new things and still fun and very inclusive.
