Childrens Yoga Course – Lime Tree Primary School


Each Yoga Session Includes:

  • Relaxation
  • Greetings and introduction of the session theme (seasonal)
  • Warm up Poses with anatomical reference to joints, muscles and bones
  • Standing up Dynamic Yoga sequence
  • Key Poses in relation to the class theme
  • Partner Yoga or Yoga game
  • Short Breathing practice
  • Closing Poses
  • Final Centering Practice ahead of the day

Childrens Yoga Course – Lime Tree Primary School

Children Yoga aims to help children develop a sense of awareness of their body and emotions through exercise, sound, Breathing, balance, games, story telling and Relaxation. It is a fun practice that offers to all children the opportunity to express themselves through their body in a controlled and precise way.

Who’s it for?
Children Yoga at Lime Tree School is offered to children in Year 1 to Year 4 as as After School Club in groups of max 12 children of the school.

No experience required

What To Bring
Children practice barefoot on Gym Mats in a circle with their instructor.

Their School PE Kit or leggings/tracksuit bottoms and Tshirt (bring it in school on the day)

Term Dates

Spring Term: 5 sessions on 21st Feb, 28th Feb, 7th March , 14th March, 21st March (starts after Half Term)

3.15pm to 4.15pm on Wednesdays

Booking Terms and Conditions
Please book online and register your child's name for the class although your billing details will be in your name. All members to join at the start of the term. Refunds and/or cancellations will only be accepted up to 7 days before the start of the term unless the space can be sold to somebody else.
